Program Details

We operate for 6 months per year over the course of two 12-week cohorts:

Spring cohort: March 6th, 2027-May 29th, 2027

Fall cohort: September 11th, 2027-December 4th, 2027

We cater to families that need to stay in The Schengen Area for no longer than 90 days over a 180 day period. In order to have a more rooted experience for students, teachers and families alike, we ask for a minimum of two cohorts commitments (6 months).

- Age Groups:

Our Education program is initially designed for 20-25 students across 3 age-specific groups:

  - Early Years: Ages 4–5  - Wayfinders: Ages 6–7  Discoverers: Age 8-10

- Class Size: 6-10 students per class

Educators: Each classroom will have one Lead Educator. One Italian speaking Assistant Educator will rotate between the classes. Teacher:Student ratio 1:6

Classes begin at 9am and run until 3:30 pm Monday to Friday for 12 consecutive weeks.  Terre di Sacra provides a van to take kids from the glamping site to the campius and back (about 13 minutes)

Cook and Gardens: Terre di Sacra will dedicate one of its chefs to cook local farm to table food daily together with the students, including fresh pasta and bread.

Children will eat local, organic and seasonal food and participate on the entire process of food preparation.

Terre di Sacra will also provide a gardener to work with the students on the vegetable garden and with farm animals

Tech polity: We will make limited use of tech on campus.  Children are not allowed to have cell phone, video games and social media while participating in Earthbound

This is a pilot education and community project and the success will depend on all of the families involved! We encourage parents to volunteer on campus, from helping with the permaculture garden to presenting a topic to the class they are passionate about!
