Danilo Casertano
Head of EducationDanilo Casertano is an educational designer and trainer with 27 years of experience in the educational field, specializing in Outdoor Education, community-based learning, and territorial educational systems.
Casertano began his professional career as a Steiner-Waldorf teacher, focusing on developmental pedagogy, experiential learning, and holistic education.
He is among the founders of the first Italian experiences of Asilo nel Bosco (Forest Kindergarten) and Asilo del Mare (Sea Kindergarten), contributing to the development of educational models centered on direct interaction with natural environments.
He is a contract lecturer in Outdoor Education at Università LUMSA, contributing to teacher education and advanced training programs. He has trained thousands of teachers and educators.

Marco Vinci
Lead Educator- Ages 9-11
Marco Vinci has been a Waldorf teacher for 18 years.
He began as a teacher in 2007 and for the past ten years he has been teaching at the Steiner Waldorf School in Florence. Throughout these years the has had the joy of watching hundreds of children grow, supporting their development through play, art, movement and a deep respect for the rhythms of nature.
During the summers, he led Nature Summer Camps – precious experience that allowed children to live freely outdoors, immersing themselves in the forest and in the stories that only nature knows how to tell.
Before becoming a teacher he worked in research and development in the biodynamic field. This experience strengthened his conviction that education and biodynamic agriculture walk hand in hand.
Marco is a passionate painter and artist, modelling clay, working with wood and leather.
Art is an important tool through which every child can express and develop their unique individuality.
Greta Rigon
Educator- Ages 6-8
Greta Rigon is a nature educator, working in the field of experiential learning and forest pedagogy for children aged 3 to 15. In these outdoor educational pathways the forest, free play, bodily experience, and contact with natural elements become privileged spaces for learning, discovery, and growth.
For seven years, Greta taught early childhood nature-based projects in Trentino Alto Adige and later contributed to the creation of a parental education project designed for children aged 6 to 10. She is also a trainer for educators, teachers, and parents, supporting them in developing educational practices rooted in a relationship with the environment, attentive to the rhythms of childhood and the educational value of direct experience.
She promotes an approach to education that recognizes nature as a pedagogical ally, capable of nurturing autonomy, creativity, and a sense of belonging, while fostering the emergence of learning communities that grow together with children and the places that host them.
Sara Martinez
Educator- Ages 4-5
Sara Martínez is an early years and primary educator originally from Madrid, Spain, with international experience working in diverse educational settings across different countries. She has worked in bilingual, multicultural, and child-centered environments.
With degrees in Early Childhood and Primary Education, Sara has experience teaching children from 1 to 12 years old, and in creating inclusive learning environments that support children’s academic, social, and emotional development. She has worked in evolving, multicultural educational contexts and collaborative communities.
She is passionate about meaningful, hands-on learning and values curiosity, creativity, and connection in education. Nature, and outdoor learning influence her approach, helping children learn through active and engaging experiences.
Anita Maggioni
Co-Educator- Ages 4-8
Anita is a graduate in foreign languages and literature from the University of Bologna, she brings to her work a strong affinity for vocal and theatrical expression and storytelling.
She has worked as an educator in various outdoor settings in Italy, where she offers nature-based activities integrated with English language learning, fostering a seamless connection between play, relationships, and teaching. For her, nature is an essential space, to be experienced and explored daily.
Her educational approach focuses on listening, empathy, and nurturing relationships. By making children active participants and involving them fully, she stimulates their natural curiosity and desire to learn, guiding them to become bearers of knowledge in their own right. Her aim is to make learning a vibrant, engaging, and participatory experience
